Kayapo people also call outsiders "Poanjos". ==Location== The Kayapo tribe lives alongside the Xingu River in the eastern part of the Amazon Rainforest, near the Amazon basin, in several scattered villages ranging in population from, one hundred to one thousand people.〔Dowie, Mark.
